Wrapping Up 2023: A Year of Resilience, Innovation, and Growth

As we bid farewell to 2023, we want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey we’ve had together. This year began with uncertainties looming over the crypto market, still recovering from the challenges of 2022. The aftermath of that tumultuous period left many disillusioned, trust eroded, and prominent projects facing adversity.

However, within the storm, our team quietly harnessed our collective energy to embark on Project DAMA, a proof of concept developed in collaboration with Deutsche Bank under the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). The project concluded successfully at the end of 2022, and its results were not yet publicly available. In January, we diligently worked on the final report, which we officially unveiled to our community in February. This pivotal moment marked the resurgence of our project and team.

Despite the market’s subdued and uneventful nature, the validation of our proof of concept with a tier 1 bank renewed trust and opened doors to conversations with significant players in the traditional financial world. Throughout the year, our team engaged in numerous discussions, meetings, and collaborations with regulators, asset managers, banks, and stock exchanges. The interest in understanding and preparing for the resurgence of the crypto market was palpable.

The tireless efforts of our team did not go unnoticed, and by September, the broader crypto community began to recognize the potential of digital asset management on the blockchain. Excitement spread rapidly on Twitter and within the crypto circles.

Looking ahead, we’ve identified a crucial need in the B2B space: a protected environment for safely approaching DeFi protocols. To address this, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with zkSync to create a Hyperchain tailored for the institutional world. This strategic move aligns with our commitment to providing a secure gateway for B2B entities to engage with DeFi protocols confidently.
